What is the syllabus adapted by Bestari Integrated Islamic School (BIIS)?
The syllabus adapted by BIIS aligns with its vision and mission: to provide a creative, stimulating, and caring learning environment for students’ continuous growth and to unleash students’ potential to be great Muslims. BIIS has Academic and Kafa sessions. BIIS also practices Quranic Holistic Development, in which every subject will integrate with the Quran.
The syllabus focuses on positive stimulation of faith, the acquisition of knowledge, culture of inquiry, rational comprehension of a subject, moral and aesthetic, physical well-being, and the development of social skills.
What time does the school day start and end?
Students can arrive from 7:15 onward. Classes begin at 8:00 am and finish at 3:30 pm. Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) start from 3:30 pm until 4:30 pm on specified days. Don't hesitate to contact the school's front desk for details on the Extra-Curricular Activities offered at BIIS.
Does BIIS provide transportation for students?
Yes, limited door-to-door van services are available for the BIIS students who fit onto existing bus routes. Don't hesitate to contact the BIIS front desk at 013-523 2500 to find out more.
What is the schedule like? Are there any breaks?
Classroom instruction occurs from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The students will perform their dhuha prayer as they arrive and continue with the hafazan and tasmiq session, then the academic session will start. During these hours, two short breaks are taken in the morning and afternoon, and one long break is taken for lunch/rest. Breaks are also taken for prayers.
What are the facilities in Bestari Integrated Islamic School?
Bestari Integrated Islamic School is equipped with a science lab to help students understand their science-related subjects better, a computer lab to teach students the importance of being tech-savvy, and a library that students can use as a resource center to complete their homework and assignments. There are also Libraries, Dining areas, Basketball, Netball, and Futsal Court. Our class is facilitated with an air conditioner, and our building is equipped with CCTV cameras.
When was Bestari Integrated Islamic School established ?
Bestari Integrated Islamic School was established in 2018 at Ipoh, Perak and has since proudly grown into a full-fledged institution consisting of a primary school with about 150 students.
What is the class size?
We ensure a maximum of 20 students in each class.
What is the language of instruction in Bestari Integrated Islamic School ?
We teach in English. On top of that, we also offer language subjects Bahasa Melayu and Arabic.
Is assessment required as a part of the admission process?
Yes, new intakes are required to take an entry assessment.
Is there a discount for enrolment of 2 or more siblings?
Yes. Sibling discount is entitled for the second child. Kindly contact our admissions team to know more.
Do the students bring lunch with them to school or are they provided with the lunch?
The school provided the breakfast, lunch and hi-tea for the students, students only need to bring their food container to fill the food in.
